Ogaard works the release of 20-feet of tow wire Wednesday morning to establish the USS New
Jersey at a total of 3,968 feet from the Sea Victory.

Wednesday evening, building sea swells from gale force winds in the Gulf of Alaska, far to
the north, begin rolling by the USS New Jersey, now
off southern Oregon.
