USS New Jersey always posed a threat to enemy
forces with her formidable firepower, and her very presence in an area of operations kept more
situations under control than not.

Frequent tropical rain squalls now shower USS New Jersey as she moves closer to the equator.   Wednesday evening she was 153 Nautical Miles Southwest of the Mexico Guatemala border.
