Panama City, the capital of the Republic of Panama,
lies directly ahead of the USS New Jersey as she approaches her Balboa anchorage Friday morning.

The Sea Victory is anchored in the Bay of Panama Friday afternoon, while some of her crew boards the USS New Jersey to haul in the ship's stern floatline for the Canal passage.
