USS New Jersey slips easily away from her Cristobal
Pier Thursday, her lengthy tow chain remaining hidden beneath the water, while Sea Victory assumes a
longer towing distance.

The New Jersey passes beyond the Cristobal
breakwater to enter the Caribbean Sea / Atlantic Ocean corridor for her Northward homebound voyage Thursday.

The Sea Victory at Cristobal's Pier 7-C before this morning's departure, with the Gatun Locks in the distance above the tug's bow.

Even the little guys share the international port and Canal space of the mighty deep blue sea freighters at Puerto Cristobal, seen as New Jersey departed this morning.
